Reviving a treasured archival design, Paolina is adorned by an interlinked palmette motif embroidered in shimmering thread. The palmette—a stylized form of the lotus, lily, or palm—is ubiquitous in ornamental art, tracing its lineage back to Ancient Egypt. This symbol of everlasting life imbues Paolina with mysterious magnificence. Paolina's base fabric is Angel Luxe, our signature percale woven from the finest Egyptian cotton fibers. It is hand-cut and finished with mezzo punto hemstitch at our Italian ateliers.
